School Year Part 1

She finally made it to Middle School!  This has been a great year for Berkeley.  She is my building now, which makes it very nice, and convenient.  The bad thing is....I am always there!  HAHAHA!!!!  She is realizing that that is probably not as cool as she thought it would be, since I tend to be able to drop in and take care of business whenever I want, and I have embarrassed her a time or two....I try not to, but...it happens :)  She went to her first dance this fall.  We call it "dances" in Middle School, but all they seem to do is hang out....no one really dances....which is ok, I guess....

With Middle School, also comes boyfriends.  Yes, she has a "boyfriend".  But, when asked what they do together to make them boyfriend/girlfriend...she just giggles.  LOL!  They have homeroom together, and that is about it.  They don't sit together at lunch or in the classroom or anywhere for that matters.  They don't hang out outside of school....I don't get it, but if this is all that it amounts to right now....a title....then I guess I am ok with it.  There are a few "couples" that have been on "dates"....not sure I am ready for that yet....He didi get her a Christmas present....a very cute magnetic picture frame that has her name spelled out in letter magnets.  She got him an airsoft pistol. 

Ahhhhh.....young love.....LOL!!!

I am sure the rest of the year will find much more excitement, so I will try and be a little better at posting and keeping this thing up to date....
